(Matricaria recutita) German Chamomile is a popular herb commonly used to make herbal teas and tinctures for the treatment of anxiety, indigestion, pain, and inflammation. Plants produce cheerful, daisy-like flowers atop airy green foliage. Plants will readily self-seed if blooms are left to mature. Approx. 250 seeds per packet.
CULTURE: Direct seed outdoors as soon as soil can be worked. Surface sow seeds in narrow bands with 18" between rows/bands. Do not cover as light is required for germination. Keep moist until germination has occurred. Thin seedlings to small clusters spaced 8" apart.
