This variety of red cabbage produces a big heavy head of cabbage. Its very colorful and sweet. I love it.

Unfortunately I have not yet planted. Our weather has not cooperated here in N California. Rain, wind and snow! My last frost date was Feb 12th and we are still getting hard freezes. Lol. I will uprate once I get these in. The plan was to direct sow but I think I am changing this plan and doing as starts to hopefully get a small crop this spring. Fingers crossed and prayers🌷

I planted 12 Keystone bell seeds and got a 100% germination rate. The seeds were 2022 stock and planted 2/11/23. I used jiffy organic seed start mix, warming mats, growlights from Lowes and a small 4 shelf greenhouse. Humid 72F constant temp. All seeds were sprouted within 7 days and doing amazing 3 weeks later. My Chiles and Jalepenos didnt get the same success rate but all plants are super healthy.

I received the seeds and they were damaged in transit even though they well packaged. I wrote an email explaining what happened, with some photos of the damaged seeds and the response was quick and generous. Without hesitation or question, Thresh Seed Co. replaced the seeds and sent them out the same day.
I will be buying my seeds from them from now on. BTW, they germinated in 5 days and are doing extremely well. I also bought all my tomato seeds from them and had almost 100% germination rate.
