Golden Sweet Garden Pea
50 Seeds
(Pisum sativum) Originates from India. Climbing 6-foot vines with golden stems and beautiful bi-colored flowers give rise to unique, canary yellow pods. One of only a few golden varieties known to exist. Pods are best used when young and tender. Mottled purple seeds can also be dried and added to soups. Plants require support. 60-70 days. 50 seeds per packet.
CULTURE: Peas prefer cool weather. As soon as soil can be worked, plant seeds 2" apart, 1" deep in rows 18" apart. Plants grow to 5-6ft and therefore require trellising. Seeds germinate in 7-10 days.
