Straight Eight Cucumber

25 Seeds

$ 2.99

(Cucumis sativus) Named for its smooth, straight 8" cucumbers, Straight Eight has been an American favorite for generations and in 1935 was named an All-America Selections winner.  Plants are early, vigorous and highly productive.  Tolerant of mosaic virus.  52 days to harvest.  25 seeds per packet.

CULTURE:  Direct sow seeds in spring after danger of frost has passed.  Seeds should be sown 2-3 per hill with hills spaced at least 3' in all directions.  Alternatively, seeds may be sown along a trellis with 12-24" final spacing between plants.  Under ideal conditions, germination will occur in 3-10 days.  Harvesting regularly promotes yield.
