Disclaimer: Seed has not been sterilized and therefore is not intended for human consumption.
(Sorghum bicolor) Rare sorghum variety produces round, white seeds which can be popped into tiny white "popcorn." Short, 4-6ft plants produce highly branched panicles with several hundred seeds each. Kids, adults (and birds) will enjoy watching the bushy panicles become heavy with seed. Plants grow very similarly to corn and likewise prefer full sun and plenty of heat. 90-100 days to harvest.
CULTURE: After danger of frost has passed, sow seeds 4" apart, 1/2" deep in rows 30" apart. Under ideal conditions, germination will occur in 7-10 days. Once seedlings are established, thin to one plant every 8".
