(Cucurbita maxima) Also called "Pink Pumpkin," this Brazilian heirloom produces unique salmon colored pumpkins ranging in size from 4-8lb. Its name comes from the traditional dish "Camarão na moranga" which means "shrimp in a squash." A good storage variety with sweet, orange flesh. Also great for fall decorations. 95 days to harvest. 15 seeds per packet.
CULTURE: After danger of frost has passed, sow seeds in hills with 4-5 seeds per hill and hills spaced 6ft in all directions. Germination will occur in 7-14 days. Once seeds have germinated thin to 3 seedlings per hill.
