I purchased several tomato seeds from Thresh Seeds and I have to say that this company is on the ball. the website is fantastic. I love the in-depth descriptions. The packaging is top notch. Unfortunately I need to wait until spring to plant. I have full confidence in the results to come. I will update then.

I started my nadapeno in an Aerogarden and was keeping my expectations low. My plant has surpassed all my expectations and then some. Beautiful growing plant, excellent yield so far. I started my seed mid August and have already harvested 3 stunning peppers, my plant has another 12 already in various sizes and I've had to prune it back! I have it growing in a 2 gallon resevoir with three tomato plants. It has a large built in grow light as well as some clip on ones to reduce dark spots, an oscillating fan for airflow, a steady room temp of 70-75 degrees F, and Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro every 2 weeks for food.

The peppers themselves are amazing. I grew an isolated jalapeno in nearly identical conditions to compare the two - the nadas are EXACTLY like the jalapenos with none of the sting. Firm, juicy, crunchy, with a very green fresh taste and none of the stingy heat of a traditional jalapeno. In the cutting board photo the nada is on the right. I'm so excited to see the rest of my peppers come in!

These one star reviews are misplaced and misleading and offer no prospective on the performance or quality of the seeds. While we can all agree that slavery is and was horrific there are more effective outlets. If anything, due to the one star reviews, you have caused buyers to skim by this product without reading the description and further learning about the history of Angola. Preserving history is not the same as condoning it. The purpose of a product description is to explain the variety's background and characteristics, not to provide a comprehensive analysis of every historical issue connected to its origin. I applaud Thresh for their efforts in attempting to save this seed.

I have personally purchased and grown these seeds and can speak to their performance. In my garden, Angola Prison Okra has proven to be productive, reliable, and worth growing. I would absolutely recommend it to other gardeners. I would also encourage anyone that is interested in this seed or any other heirloom for that matter to learn more about it's history. My experience with Thresh has been nothing but positive. Shipping is fast and seed packaging is excellent for long term storage.

It’s a very productive okra and it still going strong and about 12 foot tall . Okra likes it hot and where I live it’s been a hot dry summer and still growing. My first year growing Perkins long pods . Bought seeds for next year from Tresh seeds. I’m very happy with Thresh .

These produced a lot of peppers and made the best hot sauce. My whole family is obsessed. They’ve earned a permanent spot in our garden repertoire.

I had great germination with these seeds and the plants are vigorous and didn’t need much to thrive. We’ve been eating these adorable little sweet peppers all summer and my kids think they’re great. The plants have produced a ton of these peppers and are still going strong!

I have grown the Opalka tomatoes the last couple of years, and I usually have very good luck with them. The plants themselves do sometimes look a little wispy, but continue to produce late into the season. I have had good luck treating them with fish bone meal to avoid the Blossom End Rot. They do produce a great tasting paste tomato that is easy to process.

Dale sweet sorghum is great we make syrup every year we use it and another kind we have had for years. The seed was great had good germination results and growed really good I would recommend giving it a try thresh seed company is a great company to get your seeds from
