Muncher Cucumber

25 Seeds

$ 3.69

(Cucumis sativus)  Our favorite variety for slicing.  Compact vines produce large quantities of smooth-skinned, nearly spineless cucumbers.  Can be harvested at any size, but we like them best around 3-4 inches, when the skins are super thin and smooth.  Flavor is crisp, refreshing and never bitter.  Cucumber mosaic virus resistant.  60 days to harvest.  25 seeds per packet.

CULTURE:  Direct sow seeds in spring after danger of frost has passed.  Seeds should be sown 2-3 per hill with hills spaced at least 3' in all directions.  Alternatively, seeds may be sown along a trellis with 12-24" final spacing between plants.  Under ideal conditions, germination will occur in 3-10 days.  Harvesting regularly promotes yield.

Muncher cucumber

Poor germanation

Hi Earl, thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry you had bad luck with your Muncher cucumber seeds. Our current lot is germinating at over 90%, but it is always possible that something happened in transit. I will be in contact about a refund or replacement.

Beginning to grow

The weather here has been horrible, and only a few of the muncher seeds are sprouting. Can hardly wait!
