Fushimi is a traditional Japanese sweet pepper used widely in Asian cooking. Early maturing plants produce huge yields of 6-inch-long, green peppers with a sweet flavor and refreshing crunchy texture. Fushimi pepper sare commonly roasted or "blistered" on a dry skillet or battered and fried to make Fushimi pepper tempura. Harvests begin approximately 75 days after transplant.
