Red Acre is an open-pollinated variety developed by Leon Robbins at Clemson University. Plants produce excellent yields of slender, deep red pods on stout plants with sturdy stems and healthy green leaves. Beautiful, tender pods are best harvested at 3 to 4 inches in length. An All-America Selections winner in 1988. Harvests begin approximately 60 days after sowing. Each packet contains a minimum of 50 seeds.
