Imperator 58 Carrot
150 Seeds
(Daucus carota) Plants produce 6-7” long, deep orange carrots topped with healthy green foliage. Pleasantly sweet, crisp carrots are thinner than some other varieties but are nicely textured with virtually no core. An excellent storage variety. 75 days to harvest. 150 seeds per packet.
CULTURE: Sow seeds outdoors about 3-5 weeks before last frost. Keep soil moist until germination has occurred. Hint: To keep soil cool and moist during germination, carrot seed can be inter-planted with radishes, which are harvested once the carrot seedlings are established. Successive plantings can be made every 2-3 weeks throughout spring and fall.
