(Phaseolus lunatis) Absolutely the most dependable lima variety we've tried. A necessity for those looking to maximize sustenance off their garden plot. Healthy, highly-branched plants bear heavily and consistently even in extreme heat. Small, white butter beans have delicious flavor and a velvety texture. We love to use them in sausage, bean, and kale soup as they capture all of the flavors in their delicious, thick pot liquor. 71 days to harvest. 50 seeds/pkt.
CULTURE: After danger of frost has passed, sow seeds 4-6" apart, 1" deep in rows 24-36" apart. Under ideal conditions, germination will occur in 7-10 days. Avoid touching plants while leaves are wet as this can spread disease.
Vert good quality seeds. I didn't count seeds planted, but all appear to have emerged. Here happy with product and plan to purchase seeds from Thresh for next season
I couldn’t have asked for better results. I planted 6 rows of Lima beans with about 12 plants per row. I have only had one or two that didn’t germinate. We have had 3 hail storms and they Adler still hanging in there. My wife and I are looking forward to our first lima bean dinner. Another positive was the speedy delivery. I couldn’t believe how quickly my seeds arrived. You are now my go to seed company.
These guys are doing great too..I'm very happy with everything I've purchased from Thresh seed.
I am so totally satisfied with my Henderson Bush Lima Bean purchase from Thresh Seeds.! Not only are all of the little plants growing, but they are green and healthy looking.
The seller is awesome. Nice, friendly, very accommodating with my wishes. My package was shipped promptly and arrived in excellent condition with a little thank you gift enclosed!
What more could a buyer possibly ask for?— Many delicious Little beans, which I am certain are forthcoming in the weeks ahead. Since we live in the Deep South, that shouldn’t be too far off!
You can’t go wrong with Thresh Seed Company and their Henderson Bush Lima Beans!
