Extremely productive vines bear large quantities of sweet pie pumpkins. Orange, ribbed pumpkins measure 6x8" and weigh approximately 5-6lb. Slice them open to reveal thick, dense flesh of the highest quality for baking and cooking. 100 days to harvest. 25 seeds/pkt.
CULTURE: After danger of frost has passed, sow seeds in hills with 4-5 seeds per hill and hills spaced 6ft in all directions. Germination will occur in 7-14 days. Once seeds have germinated thin to 3 seedlings per hill.

Again the pie pumpkins sprouted and thrived in a corner of the yard. I plant seeds and water couple times a month in droughts. Harvesting today the 4 pla ts produced well.
