(Cucurbita maxima) Extremely rare Australian heirloom dating back to 1932. Produces unusual, blue-skinned squash with a shamrock-like appearance. Squash average about 10 pounds each and have thick, sweet flesh. Stores well. 95 days to harvest. 25 seeds per packet.
CULTURE: After danger of frost has passed, sow seeds in hills with 4-5 seeds per hill and hills spaced 6ft in all directions. Germination will occur in 7-14 days. Once seeds have germinated thin to 3 seedlings per hill.
