Again the pie pumpkins sprouted and thrived in a corner of the yard. I plant seeds and water couple times a month in droughts. Harvesting today the 4 pla ts produced well.
I had a small corner of garden left over and tossed some of these pumpkin seeds into the dirt. I think I watered 2x a month as they were near the tomato plot. Surprise today as I pulled out vines and vines to find multiple beautiful dusty blue green pumpkins! Amazing they grew in that neglected cornet and Happy to try these in recipes and canning this October.
These were super super easy to grow. I've never grown peppers before, but these have a very heavy yield and require little work. I got 100% germ. Everyone I planted grew.
First time having a real garden as we just bought a house this past summer in Ames, IA.
Started 10 seeds and had 100% germination! Planted the best ones outside and they had a rough start due to the extreme heat we saw early in the summer.
Now it is mid August and each plant is doing great with 7 or 8 big green tomatoes on them. Picture is from 8/1/22
Had great success with the other seeds ordered from Thresh as well.
This is the ones I have been looking for, they are good ones . Will be planting next season.
These have been perfect for container gardening, not getting too oversize or unwieldy. The first planting germinated and produced well, and I'm waiting for the second planting to blossom and produce.
I wanted to grow hatch chiles for chile verde. I started them under grow lights in the basement before transplanting outside in Zone 5 with giod germination rate. They've grown well and are producing consistently with great flavor, even in containers.
I planted the beans with almost 100 % germination. Plants are up and look great.
Whenever I post pictures of my blooming Love-in-a-mist flowers om Facebook I get many likes, comments and even requests for seeds. The blooms are sweet and dainty. Easy to grow. Actually, my favorite Thresh Seed flower!
Calendula, like many of the flower seeds I order from Thresh Seeds, are hardy even in the heat and lack of rain we are experiencing in southern Iowa. The cheerful yellow colors add charm to my flower arrangements. I love these easy to grow flowers.
Plants are still tiny. I am growing in pots to bring inside when it gets cold. About 3/4 s germination, I happy with progress. Highly recommend. Appreciate quick service!
High germination rate. Excellent service. Large plants now that look beautiful. Waiting for my first harvest of greasy string beans!
This is growing great I’m so pleased with the seed I’ve purchased I’m hooked
