(Zinnia elegans) A truly unique variety, Cactus Flowered Zinnia produces large, 3-6” flowers with unique, quilled petals. Flowers appear in shades of red, pink, orange, peach and yellow with some especially beautiful blossoms displaying a gradient of color from the inner to outer whorl. Plants grow 30-40 inches tall and bloom summer through fall. Annual. Approx. 100 seeds per packet.
CULTURE: After danger of frost has passed, sow seeds 1/8" deep in average, well-drained soil. Germination will occur in 5-24 days. After germination has occurred, thin to one seedling every 10-12". Prefers full sun.
