Michels Cowpea

50 Seeds

$ 3.69

(Vigna unguiculata) Sprawling vines produce excellent quantities of 8" long pods, each filled with 10-20 beautiful seeds.  Peas are light tan with darker brown mottling and a brown hilum.  Vines have a tendency to run, so trellising is advised for easier harvesting. 85-95 days to harvest.  Approx. 50 seeds/pkt.

CULTURE:  After danger of frost has passed, sow seeds 2" apart, 1" deep in rows 36" apart.  Plants will vine if trellised.  Immature seeds can be cooked fresh or pods can be left to dry on the vine.
