(Cucurbita maxima) Gorgeous, light blue squash borne abundantly on vigorous, healthy vines. Sweet meat offers not only tremendous beauty, but also a rich, buttery flavor and creamy, dense texture. Absolutely one of the best cooking and baking varieties out there. Also an excellent keeper, storing for 8 months or longer under ideal conditions. 95 days to harvest. Approx. 25 seeds/pkt.
CULTURE: After danger of frost has passed, sow seeds in hills with 4-5 seeds per hill and hills spaced 6ft in all directions. Germination will occur in 7-14 days. Once seeds have germinated thin to 3 seedlings per hill.
I was very happy with all the nice seeds. They all germinated and made beautiful plants! My problem was I just didn’t know how to get rid of the squash borers... and they won. But the seeds were beautiful and the plants were totally lovely. Great company!
